Notice of Collection
Purpose
The Community Safety ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ Department uses video surveillance, also known as closed-circuit television (CCTV), for safety and security purposes.
Legal authority
The personal information collected by the use of the video equipment at ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ is collected under the authority of the ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ Act, 1965 and the Occupiers’ Liability Act.
The Department must comply with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and the ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ Policy on Access to Information and Protection of Privacy.
