About Me
Born in Toronto, I received my Honours BSc in Physics, with a minor in Mathematics, from McMaster University in 2015.
I then moved to Cambridge, USA, receiving my PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2020.
From there, I moved to Cambridge, UK where I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (DAMTP) at the University of Cambridge, from 2020-2023.
In 2023, I moved back to Toronto where I have since been an Assistant Professor in Applied Mathematics at 快播视频.

Research
My group's research is focused in the realm of fluid mechanics, where we have considered a variety of topics including:
- Pilot-wave Hydrodynamics
- Stratified Turbulence
- Viscoelastic Flows
Wherever possible, our theoretical inquiries are guided by data obtained from laboratory experiments, observational measurements, and/or numerical simulation of governing equations. Given the proliferation of datasets now available, we also seek to leverage machine-learning techniques to distill massive datasets into reduced forms amenable to mathematical analysis.
Our group led the formation of the , whose objective is to generate and analyze direct numerical simulations of turbulent flows influenced by buoyancy, as commonly appear in a variety of geophysical, industrial and environmental scenarios.
