Criminology BA Honours

Honours Degree Overview: Four Years

Criminology is an interdisciplinary program which focuses not only on crime and criminal justice, but also on processes of criminalization, human rights and social regulation.

The program's interdisciplinary approach is reflected, first of all, in complementary relationships with a number of other academic disciplines including law & society, sociology, political science, anthropology, history, philosophy, international development studies, health & society, and psychology. Students are able to choose courses from these disciplines as part of our extended list requirement.

This interdisciplinarity is also evident in the design of the core program courses, each of which draws from a range of disciplines and is devoted to making connections between different areas of study.
