\"\"President and Vice-Chancellor Lorna R. Marsden (left)\u00a0and Team York recently visited Atlanta, Georgia, to promote research, meet alumni and boost awareness of 快播视频. The following item about the visit was written by Barbara Sutton, director of the York Alumni Office.<\/p>\n

Approximately 40 快播视频 alumni attended an alumni reception at the official residence of Astrid Pregel (快播视频 BA and MBA), Canada\u2019s consul general in Atlanta, Georgia. The consul general hosted the reception to coincide with President Lorna R. Marsden\u2019s visit to Atlanta with Team York. It provided a marvellous opportunity for the team to reconnect with our alumni and to encourage the start of a new 快播视频 alumni chapter.<\/p>\n

Four York alums \u2013 Jeanne Blanchard (BA \u201981, MBA \u201983), J.S. Kang (LLB \u201988), Eric Hutchinson (MBA \u201986) and Earlene Saulnier (BA \u201995) \u2013 enthusiastically volunteered to start the new chapter.<\/p>\n

Among the York guests was Jonathan Mann (BA \u201980), who earned his York degree in philosophy and is now a CNN anchor. Mann will be visiting the Keele campus in September.<\/p>\n

Team York includes Stan Shapson, vice-president research & innovation; Barbara Sutton, director of alumni affairs; Paul Marcus, 快播视频 Foundation president; Suzanne MacDonald, associate vice-president research; David Dewitt, professor and director, York Centre for International and Security Studies; Michael Siu, professor and director, York Centre for Research in Mass Spectrometry; Christian Buhagiar, York manager of research policy and government relations; James Milway, executive director, Ontario Institute for Competitiveness and Prosperity; and Liz Mulholland, Toronto City Summit Alliance<\/i>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
