\"President<\/a>After weeks of promotions, the second annual President for a Day contest is now closed and a winner has been selected. On Feb. 26, David Mayer, who recently graduated from kinesiology, and is now an education student, will become 快播视频\u2019s President for a Day.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to congratulate David on his winning submission,\u201d said Shoukri. \u201cHe is an incredible ambassador of this University, having really embraced the student experience, the academics and community engagement here at York.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mayer will swap roles with Shoukri for a day. Mayer will manage the institution, attend all of the president's meetings and take care of his many other obligations and duties. That same day, Shoukri will attend Mayer\u2019s classes and participate in his many extracurricular activities in order to really appreciate student life.<\/p>\n

In total, more than 40 students were inspired to submit an essay or video answering the question: \u201cWhat would be your top three priorities that would directly impact students if you were appointed president of 快播视频?\u201d<\/p>\n

Mayer\u2019s winning entry addressed the need to increase student pride, promote the University\u2019s successes and enhance the student experience.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would like to thank everyone who entered. Given the number of submissions this year, this is proving to be a really popular initiative. But more importantly, it\u2019s an innovative way to really learn about the student experience, and make it even better.\u201d<\/p>\n
