With so many competing priorities in students' lives, it is challenging to engage students to attend classes, participate, and be active in their own learning. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/teachingcommons\/what-we-support\/modes-engagement\/#resources\">Resources<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/teachingcommons\/what-we-support\/modes-engagement\/#events\">courses<\/a> offer strategies for student engagement in all modalities (e.g. blended, face-to-face, online).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"resources\">Resources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are unique resources required for different modalities, and we offer distinct resources for online teaching, teaching in-person, and hyflex. Learning design is part of teaching in any modality. We offer resources for different approaches to teaching and learning design.
