Knowing a formula is only helpful if you know when and how to use it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Give yourself the time to learn\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Just reading isn\u2019t enough. You must do the calculations to fully master the concepts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Avoid jumping to the answers right away. Skip the question if you\u2019re stuck, but come back to it at a later point to try again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Try not to fall behind! You want to know exactly where everything is during your exam and how to use it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take a deep breath\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Know that you have already put in the hard work. Now it\u2019s just time to show that you know how to apply the concepts!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Give yourself a couple of minutes before starting the exam to take a breather. The extra 5 minutes of studying won\u2019t be as helpful as going into the exam calm and ready.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exam Time\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you\u2019re not allowed a formula sheet, keeping all of that information in your head can be stressful! If you can, quickly write everything that you\u2019re scared of forgetting down on your exam or scrap paper so you can refer to it at anytime.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stuck on a question? It is okay to move on if you\u2019re on a time crunch. Know the weight of each question and time yourself appropriately. Come back to it if the exam format allows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Problem Solving Approaches for Math &amp; Science<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-4 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ROPOSE Approach<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>R<\/strong>ead: What is the question asking of you?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>O<\/strong>rganize: What are the given values? What are the unknowns?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>P<\/strong>icture: Visualize the problem. Draw diagrams, mindmaps, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>O<\/strong>rder: Break down the problem into steps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>S<\/strong>olve: Perform the steps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>E<\/strong>valuate: Check your answer. However, this is not the best way to learn!
