KEY PRINCIPLE: 快播视频 protects and supports freedom of speech and freedom of expression.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The University\u2019s Statement of Policy on Free Speech<\/a> defines \u201cfreedom of speech\u201d broadly as \u201cthe right to seek, receive, share and impart information and ideas of all kinds, in a variety of forms, including orally, in writing, in print, and in the form of art or music, or through any other media of one\u2019s choice.\u201d This definition recognizes that speech can be expressed in many different forms. This guide will use the phrase \u201cfreedom of expression\u201d to make it clear that expressive activity is not limited to speech.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\u201cExpression\u201d includes any <\/em><\/strong>activity that conveys or attempts to convey a meaning, and freedom of expression broadly protects such expressive activities. These can include, among other activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • music<\/li>
  • art<\/li>
  • dance<\/li>
  • sit-ins<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    • carrying signs and billboards<\/li>

    • protesting<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n
