Senior members of the faculty administration noted Manek鈥檚 鈥渦tter dedication to governance, evidenced by your service as a member of the Science Student Caucus, student senator and member of the Senate Appeals Committee,鈥 according to a letter from University Secretary Pascal Robichaud.
Additionally, the letter outlines Manek鈥檚 steadfast support to incoming students and prospective students, and was noted for having a profound impact on fellow students.
Manek鈥檚 many contributions include the Science Student Caucus, Faculty Council, various Faculty committees, Science Student Ambassador, Student Senator, Senate Appeals, and the Senate T&P Committee. As a valued member of Bethune College, she has been a peer mentor to new students, is supporting new student advising this summer and is currently the Executive Vice President of Bethune College Council.
