Her research focuses on political ecology, extractivism, and community resistance in gold-mining territories in the Ituri and Haut-Uele regions of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Drawing on ethnographic fieldwork and qualitative methods, she examines vernacular knowledge, local imaginaries, and power relations in conflict-affected settings.
