Black History Month is a moment when we remember our ancestors who have fought for the freedom of Black people but foremost for a just and equitable world for every human being. In honouring them and celebrating their legacy, the Harriet Tubman Institute is committed to social justice for a better world. With the surge of the COVID-19 pandemic, these past years have reminded the world about the importance of health as a global issue of social justice, and we have chosen Black health and wellness as this year\u2019s theme.
