Their research interests include queer migration, diasporas, and Latin American and Caribbean identities. Francois holds a previous master’s degree in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University, and a bachelor’s degree in peace and conflict resolution from Manchester University. They currently serve as an Ambassador for Peace for Haiti with the Universal Peace Federation, an NGO in consultative status with the UN.
