Contributions can include statistical consulting, assisting consultants with consulting cases, contributing to the seminar series, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mirka was a long-time contributor to the Statistical Consulting Service at ¿ì²¥ÊÓÆµ, helping students and faculty with statistical issues for more than four decades. Mirka received her Masters degree in Physics from Masaryk University in the Czech Republic and spent two years studying industrial engineering at the University of Toronto. In addition to being one of the nicest and most sincere people you will ever meet, she was also an extremely dedicated statistical consultant. She guided a countless number of students through their data cleaning, analysis, interpretation and write-up, with the type of patience and wisdom that was unique to Mirka.
