The winners for the Odessa Prize for the �첥��Ƶ of Canada and the Barbara Godard Prize for the Best �첥��Ƶ Dissertation in Canadian Studies have been announced.

The 2014-15 winner of the Odessa Prize is Jesse Thistle (History) for his essay, “We are children of the river’: Toronto’s Lost Métis History.”

The 2014 winner of the Barbara Godard Prize is Ameil Joseph (School of Social Work) for his dissertation, “Authorities on the Subject: Deportation and the confluence of violence within forensic mental health and immigration systems.”
