This first wave of migrants primarily resided in the neighbourhoods between Yonge Ave. and Church St., and Dundas Ave. and Carlton St. Following the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.violentaugust.com\/\">1918 riot<\/a>\u2014but especially after the second migratory wave in the 1950s and 1960s\u2014Greeks established themselves on Danforth Avenue.
