Their accomplishments include publications in top-tier scientific journals, multiple patent filings, and over <strong>$2 million in funding<\/strong> from agencies such as <strong>NSERC<\/strong>, <strong>Mitacs<\/strong>, and internal supports like <strong>LIF<\/strong>. Most recently, the group received an <strong>OCI\/C2C grant<\/strong> to support the commercialization of a wearable health monitoring device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To translate research into real-world solutions, the team launched a startup called <strong>WearNovAi<\/strong>, focused on bringing biomedical devices from the lab to market. Ongoing research is now centered on combining <strong>advanced biosensing technologies with real-time data analysis<\/strong> to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
