Denielle Elliott<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Interim Director, Institute for Technoscience & Society (ITS), and York Research Chair in Injured Minds<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Denielle Elliott is a Professor and York Research Chair at 快播视频, with a cross appointment in the Departments of Anthropology and Social Science (Health and Society). She is the Interim Director of the Institute for Technoscience and Society. Her research focuses on arts-based ethnography and the intersections of medicine, science, and politics. She has conducted ethnographic fieldwork on HIV\/AIDS care and treatment in Vancouver, British Columbia, and Nairobi and Kisumu, Kenya. She is currently working on a project that explores the sensoria of neurological disorders. She is the author of Reimagining Science and Statecraft in Postcolonial Kenya<\/em> (Routledge), the co-editor of A Different Kind of Ethnography<\/em> (University of Toronto Press) and Naked Fieldnotes<\/em> (University Minnesota Press).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication and Media Studies at 快播视频. My research examines drop out and disengagement from digital cultures, with a focus on digital games and social media. I have recently embarked on a new project about how work\/life balance has been transformed by the COVID pandemic.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
