Easy Reads? Feminist Stories, Graphic Narratives, and the Art of Drawing Politics
This course introduces students to the genre of graphic narratives that tell stories about a diverse range of bodies and histories. It explores the conventions and possibilities of the visual-verbal comic medium from an intersectional perspective informed by feminist, queer, post-colonial, affect, critical disability, and anti-oppressive theories.
