His current research theorizes the use of intersectionality to analyze cross-identity representations in Caribbean literature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Geoffrey's doctoral dissertation, <em>Liberation Textualities<\/em>, compared spirituality, the body, and romance in Anglophone Caribbean and Indigenous North American fiction, poetry, and drama to reexamine the concept of resistance literature<em>. <\/em>His scholarly work appears in <em>Radical Americas<\/em>, <em>Modern Drama<\/em>, and the collection <em>Practices of Resistance<\/em> (2018)<em>.<\/em> His student-centred teaching focuses on effective scholarly communications, active reading, and the appreciation of literary form.
