Anna F. Peppard earned her PhD from 快播视频 specializing in American literature. She鈥檚 published widely on representations of race, gender, and sexuality within a variety of popular media genres and forms, including action-adventure television, superhero comics, professional wrestling, and sports culture. She鈥檚 the editor of the anthology Supersex: Sexuality, Fantasy, and the Superhero (2020) and hosts two comic book podcasts, Three Panel Contrast and The Oh Gosh, Oh Golly, Oh Wow! Podcast. She鈥檚 taught many courses at York, including Comics & Cartoons, Gender Studies, and Children's Literature. As an educator, she鈥檚 especially interested in bridging divides between the literary and the popular, as well as diversifying existing canons.
