Gertrude Mianda is an Associate Professor in ¿ì²¥ÊÓƵ’s School of Gender, Sexuality and Women’s Studies and director of the Harriet Tubman Institute. Her areas of research include sociology; gender and post colonialism in Africa; development and globalization; women; and gender.
