This study is looking at social support parents receive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How did we go about doing this project?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Parents were invited to complete an online questionnaire. This questionnaire was between 30 and 45 minutes to complete. Parents were also invited to complete shorter follow-up questionnaires 6 and 12 months later. Participating parents will be entered in a raffle for $50 gift certificates, as thanks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who was involved?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Parents of school-aged children (5-18 years old) with a diagnosis of autism, living in Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What will we do with our research findings?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This research can make a difference by informing the ways we train service providers to support families.
