To be eligible students must demonstrate academic excellence and have financial need. Recipients must have a clear and compelling passion for and a history with the Caribbean community or the Caribbean-Canadian community. The scholarship is renewable so that a recipient may continue to receive the award annually for their studies as long as they continue to meet the eligibility requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Apply<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students must apply through the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/students.yorku.ca\/sfs\/awards-and-scholarships\">Financial Aid, Awards and Scholarships&nbsp;(FAAS)<\/a>&nbsp;system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contact<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/students.yorku.ca\/ssa-contact\">Student Support &amp;
