Come join us for the PACC Challenge!���� Students in the YorkU Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting (PACC) are hosting a case competition and networking event on March 30, 2019 from�� 9 am to 1 pm.

Undergraduate BCom students who are interested in a career in Professional Accounting are invited to attend.�� This will give you the opportunity to learn more about a career as a CPA and the various pathways to becoming one.

The PACC graduate students will also compete for a $1,000 CPA Sponsored prize and you can cheer on the students as their teams face off in a case competition where they are judged by a panel of CPAs.

At the end of the event you are invited to attend a networking lunch where you will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch with practicing CPAs and PACC graduate students.

Professor Joanne Jones, from the School of Administrative Studies, has been named a Fellow by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, the profession's highest distinction.�� Professor Jones played a key role in the development and launching of the Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting at the School of Administrative Studies and coordinated the program in it’s first two years. Undergraduate YorkU BCom students who are interested in a Professional Accounting career are invited to attend.�� In the morning, you can learn more about the CPA career path as well as your graduate school options and network over lunch with practicing CPAs in various different industries. In the afternoon, you can cheer on the top two teams from YorkU and UofT as they face off in the final round of the case competition. There is another networking opportunity at the end of the competition.
