Vending Services Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-6e43e43b74f4dbefc4bdbb1021c8b3a3\" style=\"background-color:#810001\">Procedures<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An eligible user shall first secure an appropriate location for the bake sale in accordance with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/tuus\/\"><em>Temporary Use of University Space Procedures<\/em><\/a><em>.<\/em>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After an appropriate space has been secured, an eligible user shall submit a <a href=\"https:\/\/ancillaryservices.apps01.yorku.ca\/machform\/view.php?id=42425\">Bake Sale Application<\/a> form to Food Services for approval<strong> at least 10 business days&nbsp; <\/strong>prior to the bake sale or event.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-white-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-972d9aa55a90b6b1eccebbd53194483e\" id=\"guidelines\" style=\"background-color:#810001\">Guidelines<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>These Guidelines apply to all members of 快播视频 who wish to hold a bake sale on 快播视频 premises pursuant to the <em>Temporary Use of University Space Policy and Procedures<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>An eligible user may hold a bake sale on 快播视频 premises, whether on its own as an event or in connection with another event, subject to obtaining appropriate space pursuant to the <em>Temporary Use of University Space Policy and Procedures <\/em>and approval of an application by Food Services.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>快播视频 wishes to ensure that only food prepared and served safely is available to community members. Any person organizing or participating in a bake sale shall comply with Food Services\u2019 guidelines and procedures for holding a bake sale, as well as applicable laws, including but not limited to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ontario.ca\/laws\/statute\/90h07\">Health Protection and Promotion Act<\/a> and City of Toronto By-Laws.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Every eligible user shall:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">appoint a coordinator who will be responsible for maintaining a list of all people who provide food for the bake sale and provide that list with the application for approval, or upon request to a public health inspector. The list must contain each person\u2019s name, address, and telephone number in full. Ensure that their food products have been produced under sanitary conditions and must employ good sanitation practices in the transportation, storage, display, and sale of the food.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">ensure at least two representatives are present throughout the bake sale; one to handle money and one to handle food.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">clean dispensing utensils (tongs) must be used to serve food. Each station must have a sanitizer and person handling the food at the table must sanitize hands when switching tasks; add food safety link<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/health-canada\/services\/food-nutrition\/food-safety\/food-allergies-intolerances\/food-allergies.html\">foods that are known to cause allergic reactions<\/a><span style=\"color: initial;\"> must be clearly marked. This includes: nuts, nut oils, dairy, gluten flour, artificial sweeteners, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">only items that are purchased from a retailer may be sold at a bake sale. Items prepared at home or residence are <\/span><strong style=\"color: initial;\">not permitted.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">food must be displayed and stored off the floor and covered.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">food must be stored safely at room temperature. Food items that require temperature regulations are not permitted for sale.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">keep the general surroundings of the bake sale event clean and free from debris. Final clean-up is the responsibility of the organizer.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">have a copy of their TUUS permit and approved bake sale notice available upon request;<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\"><\/span>failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in loss of privileges for space or other sanctions.<br><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Only the following items can be sold at a bake sale:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Brownies, butter tarts, cookies, scones.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cakes, cupcakes, squares, loaves (with icing sugar only, no dairy or whipped cream)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dry cereal products, cereal bars, energy bites<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cinnamon rolls (icing sugar only)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chocolates, crackers, chips (individually packaged)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hard candy, fudge, toffees (individually packaged)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dried fruits, nuts, trail mix (individually packaged)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Muffins (no dairy fillings)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pastries (no diary or meat fillings)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pies (fruit filled only. No dairy or meat fillings)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Popcorn<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sweet\/salt dough items (bread, doughnuts, pretzels, etc.)<br><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Food items shall be individually wrapped and labelled.
