Faculty members at 첥Ƶ are invited to participate in a series of three free webinars that focus on teaching with Zoom. The webinar series is hosted by University Professor Emeritus Ron Owston and begins Aug. 26.

Each webinar will run one hour in an interactive format and present relevant information on teaching with Zoom. The series is organized through Contact North | Contact Nord, which offers training sessions and resources for faculty and instructors from Ontario’s public post-secondary education and training sectors.

Owston has hosted several webinars on effective use of Zoom for teaching. He is a University Professor Emeritus and senior scholar at 첥Ƶ, as well as former dean of the Faculty of Education and founding director of the Institute for Research in Learning Technologies.

The webinars in the upcoming series are:

  • Aug. 26,  11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Register .

  • Sept. 17, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Register .

  • Oct. 13, 1 to 2 p.m. Register .
