Instructors<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Faculty and course instructors support the Course Representative program by providing simple accommodations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:25px;width:0px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Allow the Course Representative to make a 3-minute presentation at the beginning of class if live. If class is asynchronous, allow the student to post a pre-recorded video of the presentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Allow the Course Representative to post the presentation slides to the eClass course shell in a Student Success-designated discussion forum.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meet with the Course Representative throughout the semester on a schedule that suits your needs to discuss feedback.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"get-involved\" class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained Representatives at the start of each Fall\/Winter term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submit a detailed application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pass the initial screening process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend an interview with a short mock presentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete Course Representative training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/colleges\/ccsc\/leadership-exploration-and-development\/\" data-type=\"link\" weekly announcement (live or pre-recorded for asynchronous classes).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote academic supports (PASS, Peer Tutoring), college resources, and campus events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Host or coordinate non-facilitated study groups and peer gatherings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collect and relay course feedback to the Course Director (non-evaluative; not about changing core content or
